Citizens Advice Bureau (Westminster Licensing Advice)
Organisation information
Westminster Citizens Advice Bureau (CAB) required a professional, easy to manage website to help promote their Licensing Advice Project.
The Licensing Project currently provides advice and assistance to any resident of Westminster who is affected by the operation of licensed premises such as pubs, clubs, off-licences, restaurants, late night take-aways, bars and other similar establishments.
Website details
The website needed a simple, smart layout with a modest yet attractive look and feel. It was essential that the website was very easy to use and reflected CAB's current branding.
The site responds the same across all modern browsers and loads quickly for those using dial-up. To further enhance accessibility the site has been built with two views, a standard default view and a second high visibility view. This alternative view displays the site in a zoomed mode, making the content easier to read by anyone with impaired vision.
The website is built on top of a Standards Compliant Content Management System that enables staff to edit/upload content and manage the news sections.
