Team Leyton is a 7-year Neighbourhood Management Pathfinder operating across Leyton, a ward in the south west of the London Borough of Waltham Forest in east London.
Neighbourhood management is an approach to improving and joining up public services in deprived areas, making them more responsive to local needs. To test the effectiveness of neighbourhood management a national Pathfinder Programme was established by the Neighbourhood Renewal Unit in 2001 and there are now over 35 Pathfinders now in operation across the UK.
